Setta to Be Otakon 2024 Guest

Washington, D.C. (April 30, 2024) – Setta, an artist and illustrator, will be a guest at Otakon 2024, according to Otakorp Inc. His work can be seen in a variety of places, from logos to CD jackets.

Currently, Setta provides illustrations for logos and CD jackets for bands such as Yamaarashi and King Gnu. He was responsible for 2D works (title logos, brush lettering, special illustrations, various designs, etc.) in numerous works such as "Drifters," "Garo: Vanishing Line," "Kakegurui," "Dorohedoro," "Jujutsu Kaisen," and "Attack on Titan." He also engages in diverse activities, such as creating artwork for live video works and designing event titles for traditional martial arts schools.

Setta wants to incorporate Japanese characters; beauty and strength into art, and creates works combining brush lettering with original seals, called “Rakkan.” On the other hand, in illustration works featuring original creatures such as “Onimusume” (demon girls), he engages in creative activities using various styles, from analog techniques using Japanese paper and ink for digital art.

Otakon 2024 will be held from August 2 to August 4 at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center.
